Are you studying in school or college or through Lifelong Learning? Do you want to learn more about the Pembrokeshire Coast? If that’s a yes to one or both then you’re in the right place!
This section explores some of the fascinating habitats found in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, and looks at the creatures living there. Here we explore Pembrokeshire as a human landscape, and ask why people visit the area, and what the benefits and problems caused by tourism are.
These education pages are linked to elements of the geography, history and science National Curriculum and Curriculum Cymreig. These pages support three topics of the Pembrokeshire Sustainable Schools Award Scheme and the ECO Schools Award: Biodiversity, Litter and Waste, and Community Citizenship.
Lifelong Learning is important to the National Park Authority. National Park Visitor Centres at Newport and Tenby, and the sites of Carew Castle, Castell Henllys and Oriel y Parc Gallery and Visitor Centre in St Davids, work together to deliver field sessions, events and a range of publications.
